Pula Ties was founded in 2023 by Poasa Pula — a father and son with a shared dream of building something meaningful together. Poasa had long envisioned a clothing business that could do two things at once: showcase his creative talent and honor his Samoan heritage. In 2023, that vision became real.

The idea was simple but powerful — take the bold, intricate patterns of Polynesian tribal art and bring them into everyday dress. Not on a shirt or a canvas, but on a tie. Something a father wears to church. Something a son wears to his graduation. Something that says, without a word, exactly who you are and where you come from.
